Aimagin is a highly research and development oriented company. We love making cool innovations to solve real world problems. Our core competencies covers two areas of applications; Data analytics and Embedded systems.
An academic research project, funded by the Thailand Research Fund (TRF) and the Royal Thai Naval Academy (RTNA), to make a MEMS IMU for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles unexpectedly resulted in FiO boards and RapidSTM32 Blockset that was badly needed to automatically convert complex Kalman filter sensor fusion algorithms in Simulink® model to C code for uses in STM32 microcontrollers.
The TRF and RTNA co-funded another research project to further develop FiO board and RapidSTM32 Blockset into teaching tools in Feedback Control System Theory, for marine engineering cadets who are not accustomed to electronics or microcontroller programming.

The name RapidSTM32 Blockset was changed to “Waijung” (meaning “so fast” in Thai) Blockset, supporting both STM32 and nRF5x microcontroller families.
Our first international contract work to customize, manufacture, and oversee quality control, for a Canadian customer, to deliver automatic petrol compensation controller devices to Europe.
Received R&D funding from Agricultural Research Development Agency to create smart farm systems based on wireless mesh network and model-based design technology.
Introduce aMG Plant Buddy, a smart farm system, that uses ultra low-power wireless mesh network based on BLE technology. Highlight achievements include a network of just less than 100 low-power wireless sensor and actuator nodes, operating on 2 AA battery, continuously transmiting every 2-minutes, and lasting for 1 year. The systems were implemented for tomato, mushroom, durian, and orchid farms.
Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok to collaborate on academic research and education.
The Humanoid Robot project by Ilya Azin from Donetsk National Technical University in Ukraine, using Waijung Blockset, won 2nd Place in Simulink Student Challenge 2018.
Mathworks Inc. and STMicroelectronics helped show case Waijung Blockset in Embedded World in Nuremberg, Germany.
Co-R&D project on model-based design and code generation with researchers from Fraunhofer-Institut fur Betriebsfestigkeit und Systemzuverlassigkeit (LBF) and Kasetsart University.
Aimagin Analytics, our data analytics software, was registered on Thailand innovative product list (No. 14000018). It was the first software ever registered on the list.
Another high tech acheivement from a project to custom design a Body Control Module (BCM) for an electric car. The work included complete hardware and software design and tests.
Robotic Arm on Caterpillar Tracks project by Aleksei Labeev from Donetsk National Technical University in Ukraine, using Waijung Blockset, won 2nd Place in Simulink Student Challenge 2019. This is 2 years in a row.
Received another round of R&D funding from TRF to develop Waijung 2 as an IoT development platform based on model-based design technology and ESP32 microcontroller.
Aimagin is ISO/IEC 29110 certified.
Received Thailand Board of Investment endorsement in high value – added software classification 5.7.3 (No. 63-0116-1-00-2-0)
Officially release Waijung 2 and all otther software components as an IoT development platform based on model-based design technology.
