External Mode Simulation
หลังจากมีการอัพเกรดเวอร์ชั่น Waijung 2 for ESP32 ก็มีบล็อกที่น่าสนใจเพิ่มขึ้นหลายบล็อกเพื่อเป็นตัวเลือกที่สำคัญในการทำงาน Simulation หนึ่งในนั้นคือ External Mode Simulation
After upgraded version of Waijung 2 for ESP32, there are many more interesting blocks. As an important option in simulation work, one of them is External Mode Simulation.
External Mode Simulation คือบล็อกที่ใช้สำหรับแก้ไขหรือปรับแต่งพารามิเตอร์ตามเวลาจริง ตรวจสอบและบันทึกข้อมูลสัญญาณจากเป้าหมายที่กำลังดำเนินการ
ให้คุณสามารถทำฮาร์ดแวร์แบบเรียลไทม์ในการทดสอบลูปแบบไร้สาย (Wifi) ที่อัตราสูงสุด 500 Hz ฟูลดูเพล็กซ์ได้

External Mode Simulation is a block used modify or tune block parameters in real time. Monitor and save signal data from executing target.
Allow you to do real-time hardware in the loop test wirelessly (Wifi) at a maximum rate of 500 Hz full duplex.

บทนำ
เป้าหมายคือให้ผู้ใช้สามารถตรวจสอบแอปพลิเคชันที่ทำงานในไมโครคอนโทรลเลอร์โดยใช้ External Mode และให้ผู้ใช้แก้ไขพารามิเตอร์ของแอปพลิเคชันที่ทำงานบน ESP32 และแสดงผลลัพธ์จาก Simulink ได้
Introduction
The Waijung 2 ESP32 embedded target allows the user to monitor applications running in the microcontroller using External Mode. It gives the possibility for the user to modify the parameters of the application running on ESP32 and visualize results from Simulink.
ข้อจำกัด
เมื่อใช้ External Mode, WiFi Setup block จะไม่สามารถใช้ใน Task แบบจำลองอื่นๆ ได้ เงื่อนไขนี้จะได้รับการตรวจสอบอัตโนมัติในระหว่างกระบวนการ build และหากเกิด error จะหยุดกระบวนการ build ทันที
Limitations
When using External Mode, the WiFi Setup block cannot be used in the model for other tasks. This condition is automatically checked during the build process and an error is thrown to stop the build process.
พารามิเตอร์การกำหนดค่า
มีพารามิเตอร์การกำหนดค่าหลายตัวที่เกี่ยวข้องกับฟังก์ชัน External Mode โดยปกติแล้วพารามิเตอร์เหล่านี้จะถูกดัดแปลงแก้ไขโดยใช้ Model Configuration Dialog Block แต่เพื่อความสะดวกเราได้รวบรวมการกำหนดค่าที่มีทั้งหมดไว้ใน Waijung 2 Target Setup Block แล้ว
Configuration Parameters
There are several configuration parameters that are related to the External Mode functionality. Traditionally, these parameters are modified using the Model Configuration Dialog Block. However, for convenience Waijung 2 has included all the available configurations in Waijung2 Target Setup Block.
ตัวอย่างนี้แสดงวิธีการใช้คุณสมบัติของ External Mode กับ Waijung 2 block set ในตัวอย่าง GPIO 2 เชื่อมต่อกับ LED Simulink Index Vector ใช้เพื่อควบคุมอินพุตของ GPIO Pin พอร์ตควบคุมของบล็อก Index Vector ถูกควบคุมโดยใช้ Simulink Rotary Switch
This example shows how to use the External Mode feature with the Waijung 2 block set. In the example, GPIO 2 is connected to an LED. A Simulink Index Vector is used to control the input of the GPIO pin. The control port of the Index Vector block is controlled using a Simulink Rotary Switch.
จะเกิดอะไรขึ้น?
หลังจากเชื่อมต่อกับ target แล้ว ผลลัพธ์จะขึ้นอยู่กับการเลือกโรตารีสวิตช์ เอาต์พุตจะปรากฏที่ GPIO 2 หากสวิตช์โรตารีถูกตั้งค่าเป็น
Off : ไฟ LED จะดับ
Pulse : ไฟ LED จะกะพริบที่ความถี่ 1 Hz
On : ไฟ LED จะติด
What should be happening?
After connecting with the target, depending on the selection of the Rotary Switch, a different output will be visible at the GPIO 2. If Rotary Switch is set to,
Off : The LED will be off
Pulse : The LED will toggle at a frequency of 1 Hz.
On : The LED will be on.
